Daniel Baulch brings more than 25 years' operational experience across investigations, professional standards, public sector integrity, election integrity and anti-corruption leadership in Australia and the Pacific

Daniel Baulch is a former senior police and anti-corruption executive with more than 25 years’ experience across investigations, professional standards, public sector integrity, workplace safety investigations, election integrity and anti-corruption leadership in Australia and the Pacific. Daniel speaks, comments and advises on how corruption, organised crime, financial crime and institutional failure occur — and what organisations, governments and leaders need to do to prevent them.
Daniel brings operational experience from senior roles across policing, investigations, professional standards, public sector integrity, workplace safety regulation, election integrity and anti-corruption.
His commentary is grounded in real-world experience dealing with complex misconduct, governance failure, corruption risk, organised crime, institutional accountability and the systems that allow serious wrongdoing to occur.
Daniel is strong in recognising good integrity work, ethical leadership and genuine reform. He is equally prepared to be clear and critical where organisations, governments, regulators or private businesses fail to meet the standards expected of them.
How criminal networks exploit weak institutions, poor controls, compromised decision-making and failures of leadership.
How organisations fail to detect, prevent and respond to misconduct, and why integrity systems must be practical, evidence-based and independent.
Lessons from policing, professional standards, misconduct investigations, complaints systems and institutional accountability.
Why money laundering, beneficial ownership, professional services risk and AML/CTF reform are now board-level and executive-level issues.
Corruption, organised crime, financial crime, public sector integrity and governance challenges across Papua New Guinea and the Pacific.
Why organisations must listen early, protect legitimate disclosures and respond properly when integrity concerns are raised.
How poor records, weak audit trails and poor information governance can enable misconduct, frustrate investigations and undermine public trust.
Daniel is available for keynote presentations, corporate events, government forums, conference panels, webinars, online events and executive briefings.
His speaking style is practical, direct and grounded in real operational experience. He helps audiences understand how corruption, organised crime, financial crime and institutional failure occur — and what effective integrity systems need to look like in practice.
Daniel is available for television, radio, podcast, print and online commentary on corruption, organised crime, financial crime, AML/CTF, public sector integrity, institutional failure and PNG/Pacific governance issues.
He is comfortable working with producers and editors on the tone required for each segment, particularly where matters are legally, politically or commercially sensitive.
Daniel’s natural style is balanced and evidence-based, but direct. He is strong in recognising good work and genuine reform, and equally prepared to call out serious integrity failures where organisations, governments, regulators or private businesses fall short.

Daniel works with selected individuals, boards, executives, founders, media organisations and professional teams requiring experienced judgement on integrity, corruption, financial crime, investigations and governance failure.
This may include one-to-one advisory support, board participation, executive integrity coaching, confidential review of complex matters, investigative strategy, media story development and practical advice on organisational integrity risk.
Formal consulting services can also be delivered through Integrity Solve where required.

Daniel is currently building his public speaking and media commentary profile across Australia and the Pacific.

Well done tonight. I always thought you were one of the most ethical and best coppers I ever worked with
Give this a watch if you have the time, its absolutely amazing that we haven't got a Royal Commission into this (well it isn't amazing, clearly we would have one already if the Government was even slightly keen on rooting out corruption, I think we all know why they aren't...). Well done to Daniel Baulch and the other high quality folk on this episode who have spoken up. We as tax payers should be in uproar about this.
Daniel Baulch, it is good to see you featured on the 60 Minutes Australia program yesterday. Those who genuinely stand up to protect public funds from corruption are the real heroes. It takes courage, consistency, and integrity to expose wrongdoing and push for accountability, especially when there is pressure to stay silent. In any society, public funds are meant to serve the people. When individuals step forward to defend that principle, they help strengthen trust, transparency, and good governance. Respect to all who continue to fight for accountability, even when it is not easy.
Good interview on 9 Dan. Well done helping expose this.

Daniel Baulch The storytelling approach made a complex compliance issue feel practical, human and immediately understandable. Exactly the kind of communication that creates genuine engagement instead of just delivering information.
Daniel Baulch we really enjoyed the session, especially the way you delivered it. It was fascinating to pull apart the control outcomes. Red flags vs actionable Intel!!!!
A valuable insight highlighting that strong compliance and financial crime frameworks are built not only on data, but on the ability to interpret what lies behind the numbers.
Daniel is available for speaker events, media commentary, podcasts, webinars, executive briefings, board discussions and selected consulting engagements.
